For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDPA”), NSS is the data fiduciary for personal data collected through this Site.

This policy explains what personal data we collect through the Site, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It applies to the Site and to enquiries made through it. Data we process while delivering services to clients under a contract is governed by that contract, not this policy.

We collect only what the Site's features need:

  Contact and consultation forms — name, work email, phone number (optional), company, the service or product you're asking about, your message, and an optional budget range. Purpose: responding to your enquiry, scheduling a consultation, and preparing a proposal. Legal basis: your consent, and steps taken at your request prior to a contract.

  Career applications — name, email, phone, skills/role, links you choose to share (LinkedIn, GitHub), your resume, and your message. Purpose: evaluating you for current or future roles. Legal basis: your consent. Resumes of shortlisted candidates are retained for up to 12 months for future matching unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

  Product demo requests — the contact details above plus basic company context. Purpose: arranging and following up on the demo.

  Technical and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referral source, and interaction data collected through cookies and analytics tools (see Section 5).. Purpose: keeping the Site secure, measuring what content is useful, and improving it.

  Communications — if you email or call us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle the matter and maintain business records.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 through this Site, and the Site is not directed at them. We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

• We do not sell your personal data. To anyone, for any price.
• We do not use your enquiry data for unrelated marketing without asking first.
• We do not add you to a newsletter because you submitted a contact form.

Your data is accessible to NSS staff who need it to respond to you, and to service providers who process it on our instructions — website hosting, email infrastructure, analytics, and CRM tools. Each is bound to confidentiality and processes data only for the purpose we define.

We may disclose data where law requires it, to enforce our legal rights, or as part of a business restructuring — in which case this policy continues to apply to it.

Because our team and infrastructure providers may operate across borders, your data may be transferred outside your country. Where the GDPR applies to a visitor, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses; where the DPDPA applies, transfers are made only to jurisdictions not restricted by the Government of India.

The Site uses a small set of cookies: strictly necessary cookies that make the Site function, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) that tell us, in aggregate, which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Analytics data is not used to identify you personally.

You can decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner, configure your browser to refuse cookies, or use Google's opt-out tools for Analytics. Declining cookies does not affect your ability to browse the Site.

• Enquiries and consultation requests: up to 24 months from last contact, then deleted or anonymized.
• Career applications: up to 12 months, unless you request earlier deletion or join us.
• Contractual and financial records: as required by Indian company and tax law.
• Analytics data: per the retention setting of the analytics tool [default 14 months].

We apply reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the data we hold: encrypted transmission (HTTPS across the Site), access limited to staff who need it, credentialed access to systems that store form submissions, and contractual obligations on our processors.

No internet transmission is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected individuals as the DPDPA requires.

Under the DPDPA (and, where applicable to you, the GDPR), you can:

• •Ask us to delete it, where we have no legal obligation to retain it
• •Withdraw consent at any time, with effect going forward

• •Complain to the Data Protection Board of India (or your local supervisory authority under the GDPR) if you believe we've handled your data unlawfully — though we'd ask you to contact us first, and we'll respond within 30 days

To exercise any of these rights, write to the contact in Section 9. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use of the Site after an update means the updated policy applies.
